A study of MRI features of sarcomatoid renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and their influence on survival rates.
A retrospective review of data from a single medical center revealed 59 patients with sarcomatoid renal cell carcinoma (RCC) who underwent MRI scans prior to nephrectomy between July 2003 and December 2019. Three radiologists assessed the MRI images concerning tumor dimensions, regions devoid of enhancement, lymphadenopathy, and the proportion and volume of T2 low signal intensity regions (T2LIAs).
